Another great site for templates is http://www.ThemeForest.net

–They’re not very well known, but they offer and incredible amount of content from different authors for a relatively low price ($5 – $15 avg). I’ve used this site many a times and am always amazed at what I find.

And, since this article is geared towards video professionals, ThemeForest has a number of sister sites that offer equally affordable content such as stock footage, 3d elements, audio and music. Just click on the drop-down next to their name at the top of the page to switch over.

thank you for such an in-dept review. I totally agree that in vlogging is not easy to combine looks with functionality.
My issue is that I have large files (100-200MB) that I want to self-host. Most themes only support YouTube or Vimeo hosted videos.

Do you know Videozoom from WPZOOM ? how do their theme compare?
I am new to this and so imagining my own work and customizations when I see a theme demo is still very challenging. Would love your input. Thanks

I have a basic html website, and it has a few flash pieces. I want to promote a new CD in way that the website darkens, and the CD advertisement appears in the center of the screen (not as a pop-up, but within the current window).. . I know that this can be done, but I just dont know how. I would prefer if I could do it via CSS or PHP, but I’m sure Javascript will probably be the solution.. . Thanks for the help!.

Always nice to get a quick overview on a topic. This certainly points out a lot of options for video portfolios. I found very useful. Readers could also check out http://www.tubefolio.com A video portfolio community. Their you only need to add the link to your youtube vids to build a portfolio.
