Beatbox Street Poetry: Darcy Corbett

Beatbox Street Poetry: Darcy Corbett

Darcy Corbett is a poet and spoken word artist.

He and I shot a couple of quick takes of him performing one of his poems and beatboxing on Bloor Street near Dufferin Street in Toronto.

This short video is a quadtych — a set of 4 images or works that are meant to be considered together. With the exception of the lower right frame in which Darcy performs the poem, each of the other three frames are clips of Darcy beatboxing which are mixed together to create the music track.
